Requirements
Athletes with an up-to-date athlete application and medical form on file with Special Olympics Minnesota are eligible to participate. These forms need to be updated every three years.

Basketball Season
The basketball season runs from March 20 through the end of June.

To register: Complete the Registration Form and mail in with your check for the registration fee. Also, complete the RAVE Contact Form if you haven’t done so already. Registration for the 2024 season is closed.
Practices
The first practice is on Wednesday, March 20, and continues every Wednesday night through June 19. A schedule will be emailed out once the roster has been set.
March 20 and 27 practices: 6:00 – 7:30 pm at Century Middle School, 18610 Ipava Avenue, Lakeville, MN 55044. Please park in the lower parking lot on the north side of the building.
April through the rest of the season: 6:00 – 8:00 pm at Valley Middle School, 900 Garden View Drive, Apple Valley, MN 55124.
Competition
Regional Competition – April 21, Hastings High School.
State Summer Games – June 21-23, Stillwater High School
Events
There are three options for competition.
- Full Court Team
- Half Court Team
The RAVE fields several teams of different ability levels for full court and half court events.
